The Association is not responsible for any errors or omissions within its website and reserves the right to make changes and regulate content without notice, and to accept or reject any advertisements submitted. Any services or information deemed unsuitable for viewing will be rejected.

You, the homeowner, acknowledge that any reliance upon any sales, services, materials or products shall be at your own risk. The information provided in this site is provided on an “As Is” basis without any warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. In no respect shall East Hampton Homeowner’s Association be liable for any damages, whatsoever.

This free service is offered as a courtesy to East Hampton Residents. Good judgment, proper conduct and the honor system is expected of all East Hampton Residents to uphold the good nature of our friendly community. This website is provided on a trial basis, and can be rescinded at any time.

Rules:

Residents may only post the following:

· Clubs, Groups and Classes Section:

Internal East Hampton Clubs or Groups may post meeting dates, locations and/or openings within the EH community.

(Examples: Book Club, Women’s Bible Club, Single Parents Groups, Tennis Clubs, Bunko night, EH junior Saturday Soccer game, Tuesday toddler morning at the amenity center, etc.)

· Marketplace, “For Sale”, Yard Sale and Real Estate Items Section:

a. Household items (interior/exterior)

b. Landscaping (Patio & lawn) items

c. Vehicles

d. Clothing

e. Jewelry

f. Books

g. Furniture

h. Children’s toys, clothing or furniture

i. Miscellaneous (any items not shown above, must be submitted for review and approval of ad placement)

Yard Sale: Please post your date, time and address.

A brief description of the type of items is allowed.

Real Estate Market:

Any East Hampton Resident placing their home on the market may post their real estate sales information (brief description of property, address, selling price and contact information). Please note that this site is not to market any Realty Company. If the homeowner is utilizing a Realtor, please state the following for your contact information: “please contact my agent at insert phone number.”

· Post Your Business Section:

Any business that is individually run by an East Hampton homeowner qualifies for ad placement. Please include a brief description of services/sales provided and contact information. EH-Marketplace.com does not allow advertisement for large corporations or publicly managed companies. Examples of acceptance:

b. Privately Owned

· Services, Needs, Trades & Homeowner’s Tips Section:

Any East Hampton Resident which offers a service or states a need for assistance may place a brief description. Any East Hampton Resident may post a trade for other services or items. Any EH homeowner who has tips for product or home care and maintenance or replacement of hard-to-find items can provide suggestions here.

Services/Needs Examples: Carpool transportation needed; tutor, baby or pet sitter services provided; elder care; musical, dance or other types of services; needs for an instrument, classes or items of interest.)

Trade Example (1) Babysitters, Dog walkers, Pool cleaners

Comment: “I’d like to trade babysitting services in exchange for a computer desk.”

Trade Example (2) Homeowner owns a household item

Comment: “I would like to trade my sofa for tickets to a Jag’s game.”
Homeowner Tip Example: “Use 10W40 on garage door hinges to extend its life”.

Please note: any postings beyond the scope listed above, are reviewed on an individual basis.

Fill in the "Ad Submission Form" click submit, once your request has been received please allow 24-48 hours for your request to post. If your request does not follow East Hampton Guidelines, you will be notified that your request has been rejected. If you have any additional questions please email association@eh-marketplace.org.
